I can't tell you the number of times I have said those exact words. As a matter of fact, I think I told my 7 year old not to lick the remote just last week. I've also had to tell him not to lick his scriptures. It makes me laugh because there are certain phrases I expected to use as a mom, like "don't jump on the bed" but so many times I find myself saying things I never thought anyone would ever say "stop licking your scriptures!"<br /><br />I still have to ask the kids to quit jumping on the couch. One I've had to say a lot is "stop yelling at me" when the kids use outside voices inside. Because that is what it sounds like, they are yelling at me. And now with teens I find myself saying entirely new things. "Did you use deoterent? Is it the three year old deoterent bar you found under your bed?" Who would ever say somthing like that? I have.<br /><br />Hugs and loves. Keep track of those odd things, you'll look back on them one day and really get a good laugh. It's also good ammo for when they have kids. "Really Jakob? You had to tell your son not to lick the remote? I wonder where he got that from?" LOLMollyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16733860973554500488noreply@blogger.com
